So I am going to be in Chandler, AZ and Flagstaff, AZ the week of May 26th. Wanted to see if there are any recommendations on where to go to check out the blends and have smoke.  |

The Arizona Pipe club has a pipe night on May 22nd at Big Sticks Fine Cigars, but it is fairly close to Chandler, some of us may be able to meet up with you at Big Sticks if you can set a night...I would try to be there. bigsticksfinecigars.com/The most pipe-centric shop in the greater Phoenix area is Ye Olde Pipe Shoppe...they meet in the evenings every Thursday night...if you go there, let me know...it is on my way home from work. www.yelp.com/biz/ye-olde-pipe-and-tobacco-shoppe-phoenix-2Darin lives down the road from Flagstaff, and last time I talked to him, it is pretty thin as far as pipe shops up there, he may be able to advise. Hiland's cigars actually has a pretty decent supply of tobacco's, it is in south Scottsdale, an easy drive from Chandler...just a bit farther north than Big Sticks. hilandscigars.com/product-tag/pipe-tobacco/Fox's cigar lounge has no pipe related stuff, right around the corner from my home, but they have no problems with pipe smokers, a well stocked full bar, and great restaurants in the same parking lot. Gilbert borders Chandler....

Flagstaff doesn't have much for the pipe smoker, unfortunately. However, if you find yourself in the downtown area, you can pick up a nice cigar at McGaugh's. www.mcgaughsflagstaff.com/Business or pleasure for this trip? Have you ever been to Sedona? It's worth the side journey and you can take beautiful Oak Creek Canyon up to Flagstaff. |

When I was in Phoenix the last couple of times I went to the Shadows Lounge in the Talking Stick Resort.
Great place, good cigar and scotch selection and pipe friendly.

The nice thing about most tribal lands...Heap big smoke is not offensive.  Wild Horse Pass butts up against Chandler, you can smoke anywhere. |

Sorry I missed this thread way back on the 21st... had I seen it, I probably could have arranged meeting up, sure you had a good time at Ye Olde... good bunch of guys over there.
I rarely make it to their Thursday night meetings, in retirement it should be different!
