Does anyone else buy a pipe tobacco because of the beautiful tin art? I do. Is the first thing that catches my eye. Then, I check to see if it is the type of tobacco I like and I’m sold! Here were recognize some of the best tobacco tin art currently available. Enjoy!

No, can’t smoke the tin. I appreciate good tin art but it’s whats in the tin that determines if I buy it, not the packaging.

W.O.Larsen has had very elegant and exquisite tins for many years. The navy blue tin is my favorite.

Thanks for posting the video👌👍👍. I’ve never purchased tobacco due to the fine Art printing on a tin. Those fine Art tins are a thing of the past with that huge “ warning label “ printed on half the tin. Why not print that “ useless information “ along the side rim of a tin?!?!?!

I agree with you 100%. Not only do they put the ugly warning label in the front but also in the back. Way overkill. I have never seen any food ingredients labels on two sides of the packaging! Why do we need warning labels front and back! I was so disappointed to see such beautiful and clever tin art ruined by exaggerated warning labels. Such a shame

I wish W O Larsen would put as much effort as it does on the tin art on their tobacco. Their tins are always more expensive than other tins of similar tobacco and the tobacco itself is not all that in my opinion.

I love and have collected tins for the art. Right now I'm actively seeking tins with ducks on them especially the non generic Bufflehead Shop tins.

I think I would, but because all packaging is the same for all blends (pictures of people dying), I go by the description.

That's how I got introduced to McClellands Frog Morton. As a Lord of the Rings fan, I saw that in a Tinderbox and went right to it.

That was , of course, before the awful warning labels destroyed them. Though some of the Euro brands seem to have found a way around it. For special seasonal tobaccos, they put the tin inside a box. The box carries the warning label, the inside tin does not.

They are advertised on German sites and Bremen Pipe Smoker on Youtube reviews them. That's how I found out about it. I think one of the companies that do that are Kohlhasse and Kopf (also produce Rattray's), and it's the Christmas and Easter blends with the real fancy tin art that come that way. All that packaging makes it more expensive, of course.

When I actually buy tins, it's for the components of the blend. Once opened, the tobacco goes into a jar and the tin goes in the trash. My wife bought me these a couple of years ago, and the tobacco was immediately jarred. I think one of my daughters kept one of the tins, but the rest were compressed and sorted with the metals trash.

You know..i would spend an extra half a buck or so for a boxed tin.. would make everything much easier to stack...or here is an idea..i guess it is the same concept..the baccy comes in a bag and the tin is empty..no warning lable on an empty container..
