About a quarter of a bowl left of D&R Raccoon’s Delight in an old, undated brown full bend straight grain London Castle egg with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Ted (and everyone else), I unfortunately fell victim to romance fraud. Everything is ok. My financials are safe but my body is not. Probably from the stress at my age and preexisting issues.. I am getting medical treatment now in the United States. I was being held hostage by a family of criminals in a house and I had to sneak out in the middle of the night in a taxi and headed straight for the airport. I can say for sure that I am done with women now. Just me, my books, my pipes, my cats, and close friends. My first pipe in about 5-6 weeks is Holiday Mixture in a MM cob. Sorry to say that I kinda expected this, but I figured you knew what you were doing. Just happy to have you back and safe. People complain about the way things are in this country because they don't have a clue about the real world.

Unknownpipesmoker, so sorry to hear! What a crazy thing. I was always on edge every time I had visited a foreign country. It can be a very lonely feeling and scary feeling, no matter how many people are around you. Hope all is good, and continues to improve for you.
I am about to pop a tin of Ennerdale and see what these Lakeland’s are about. Fingers crossed!

I’m halfway into this bowl of Ennerdale. I’m smoking it in an old beat up cob in fear of ghosting. It’s ok. It’s not really jumping out at me. Not sure it is a tobacco that I will crave. Perhaps it will grow on me. I am pairing it with a very floral IPA. I think I might like it better with a glass of whiskey.

John Patton's Crossroads date on jar 2012
Pipe of choice: RARE restored to mint condition by me......Made by Master Pipe Maker Pierre Morel Sr. hand Made/carved Bullmoose pipe with a slight bend to a very comfortable stem. This pipe is truly a work of Art. Pierre was also a fine sculpture, some of his fine craft is in the Louvre Museum. His son followed his Dad’s craft of fine hand made pipes. 👍👍
