Just finished mowing the grass. Smoked a bowl of a 75%/25% blend Amphora Virginia Blend & Briar Works Bacon Old Fashioned. Now smoking a 50/50 blend of H&H Anniversary Kake & Lane BCA. It’s been vacuum pressed for six months and it came out of the bag as a moist crumble cake with a decided pouch note of the BCA. It is smoking smooth. First bowl was in a Nording Compass, the second in a MM/C&D Old Towne Cobbler.

Relaxing after a wonderful flat iron steak, sweet corn, and green beans with a an apple fritter for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.
