Yesterday the girls went out, today it's the guys' turn. I picked up my oldest son at the airport this morning, so 6 of my 7 made it in. This is my oldest son, my youngest son and my son-in-law. SIL is the big boy in the middle on the red horse.

She wasn’t broke, was 3 years old, and is an unpapered mixed breed. We put her under saddle this summer, rode her all summer and fall, but she’s just a bit too lazy and quiet for Will and I to really enjoy her. I was gonna keep her around anyhow as a spare horse for greenhorns that come visit, but some local lady just offered me $2,500.00 for her. I love what I do for a living 😁.

The weather has finally improved to where we can start working horses again. Will and Willie are taking the two fillies out today to start getting them back in shape. They took saddlebags with cigars and a lunch, I guess they’re making a day of it. 😁
