John...that Sara Eltang blasted egg is stunning...smoke it in good health always. Started this very slow morning with butternut burley in a stained cob...it was the easiest thing to do...now some Killington in an old Georg Jense bent author-shape...no pics, unfortunately...a beautiful old pipe from the 50's that I inherited.

Beautiful, cool morning here by the San Francisco Bay. I'll begin with a bowl of Magnum Opus in the W.O. Larsen Super with a sterling band. Cool water, espresso and a low-sodium V8 will help get the motor running. Wishing you all a peaceful day.

I’m smoking John Bull Royal English. I didn’t like it at first being so rich in smokiness but in the right pipe it really sweetened up.I wasn’t expecting any sweet notes so nice surprise.

Having a bowl of Two Friends Celtic Mist in a MM Ozark Mountain Hardwood. Cool water to sip. Just popped the final tin from the cellar and while I do enjoy it, I find it a bit "cloying" sometimes and doubt that I will replenish the blend.

Samuel Gawith 2015 Limited Edition in a Charatan's Make Freehand Relief. The Amaretto is there, but the nutty taste of burley is a bit difficult to detect. The Cavendish is sweet and satisfying. Cool water to pair, vodka shot coming up.
