Welcome from the swamps of Texas and I really enjoyed the music you posted. Thanx. Glad you liked the music. When Miles Davis visited Serbian bras bands annual meeting in GuΔa, he said that he just didn't realize a trumpet can be played in such way. My dad is Serbian and introduced me to this music. I'm a metalhead as well and also listen to reggae, ethno, soul, blues, ska, punk, medieval, country, disco, no limits really...I love music, no need for drugs when a good song lifts the spirits and feeds the soul.

Another welcome from Arizona.
That cute dog looks like a great choice for someone with allergies!
Do Slovenians have much freedom owning guns? It seems that so many of the former Eastern Bloc countries are far more free in that regard than many countries... I haul a lot of CZ products from Czechoslovakia.

Owning guns in Slovenia is as strict as it can be. My father, now 96, was a hunter and an army officer, WWII vet, so he gave me his rifle and a pistol. It's impossible to get a licence for carrying arms unless a professional. So I was able to get an ownership licence after a course. It goes like this: no crime record, psychological evaluation, writing exams in gun laws, technical theory, first aid, then handling and precision shooting. At home you need a safe or a metal locker. Carrying allowed to shooting range or repairman. Shooting a gun puts you in jail, it's almost impossible to prove a life threat, you need multiple armed attackers and wounds to win the case. They simply say call the police if endangered. I don't mind the strict laws, but defence freedom is too limited really. Anyway Slovenians have a high gun ownership per capita due to many hunters and sports shooters. We have a low crime rate as Ex Yugoslavia and now Slovenia were a very social countries. Only psychos do the crime, extreme poverty doesn't exist. There's no bad neighborhoods. Slovenia is still one of the safest countries in the world. There's the illegal migration problem getting more serious, but they usually cross Slovenia to get to Germany, Sweden etc. As I'm a gun lover, if living in USA I'd probably have a good arsenal of weapons.

Another welcome from Arizona... Hi. Owning guns in Slovenia is as strict as it can be..... Well at least you can own firearms, but the restrictions are extreme. I hope for your sake that someday you can see a lessening of restrictions, but knowing how these things progress, doubtful. Everything I know about Slovenia is that it is a great place, one of the places that I would love to visit.

I was reading today that our First Lady and First Boy are fluent in Slovenian. In case you need someone to talk to in your native language. π₯΄ππ€
