The specifications for the 2018 POY.?
Outer diameter Height of bowl Chamber diameter Chamber depth Summel length Type of stem used Model of bowl used
As most of you don't know on occasion or when a wild hair comes along I modify cobs. I am considering doing a Cutty. Since the 2018 POY was designed to be a Bing I thought would start looking there. No worries if the specs can't be found. I will find something to use.

You are talking about the Briarpatch POY, right?

If it would be easier for you the measurements can be in millimeters I can convert. As for the bowl model, I am thinking it is either a Legend/Washinton or pony express/huckfinn/tom Sawyer shapes. Btw his the family? Hope they are doing good. JR

I would have said that SAE means non-metric, but apparently it is Society of Automotive Engineering. It seems that someone has to be in charge of non-metric thread standards.

Sorry about that, didn't mean to cause confusion. In my work shop I have charts and some measuring tools I can go from inches to metric and back.
Have to go solve a problem of why my Tom Sawyers, Huckfinn and Pony Expresses gurggle so bad.

This made me laugh, thank you. I just got home from work and looked for my calipers and it seems they have vanished.

This is from a Mr brog listing on eBay. Ignore the values on the screenshot, but note the letters... A 31mm B 45mm C 172mm (99mm + 73mm stem) D 18mm E 38mm

SAE (Society of Automotove Engineers) tool and fastener measurements are imperial, and are referred to as SAE to differentiate those sizes from nominally metric sizes.

Based on the inch scale the thread pitch tends to differ and the head size is larger on the SAE. Fun with fasteners GM made a bundle with t16 tip as it was first used to adjust headlights. I looked it up in 1975 Congress passed the Metric Conversion Act doubling the size of a tool box. Pissing off mechanics and costing G Ford the next election. You have not lived until you have replaced a water pump on a mid 70s Cadillac where every other bolt required a new size socket and there where a slew of them holding that pump on. Of course GOD made our hands in SAE if you look online you can measure all kinds of stuff just using hands.

I learned that lesson after attempting a stream crossing in Montana. Some uniformity in that all the bolts in the 77 Plymouth/318 starter were Metric!

Most of the bolts, I'd guess 80%, in my 13 Ram pickup are metric. Things like lugnuts, trailer hitch, chassis bolts, etc are SAE. I will still take that combination over the 69 BSA with metric, imperial, and mostly Whitworth!

Whitworth is a rather good college, located in Spokane, Washington.

Lesson on Whitworth is now complete. A little more mostly useless info is now stored in my brain.

Now you have to look up STOR fittings Josh because Whitworth leaks like sieve.
