Got up here a while ago so she could be hooked to the monitors and everything. They came in and said that we got bumped to the 2nd c section of the day because one has to be done immediately. These babies are definitely taking after their mom, late to everything.  |

They're on their way out right now. We got pushed back because of an emergency c section this morning.
Since she wanted to be knocked out completely, they wont let me in there.

Babies are here, surgery went well. Corbin needed oxygen and they're weening him off now. Alice is still on oxygen and they're giving her fluids.
Still cant go back until "things settle down." Whatever the f__k that means.

I only know the bit I pick up from my wife who is currently doing a rotation with some newborns needing a little extra help getting things started in life. As newborns, they go through some sort of rating system and it sounds to me while yours are looking fine, they probably want to get them "fully situated" with oxygen and fluids. Which might be a better way of saying "things settle down". |

After the initial shock, I figured that out. If it was something "bad," I'm pretty sure the dr and pediatrician wouldnt have told me that in the waiting room with a bunch of strangers around.

Ahhh saw my babies!!!! I love my boys to death, but when I touched Alice's hand I felt my heart get a little softer. They're on oxygen right now, but they are doing well |
