Today I took a pipe along for a small walk in the local park. Pipe: Missouri Meerschaum Diplomat 5th Avenue Bent. $8.69 brothers. I had only smoked it once before. Tobacco: Holiday Mixture I'm smoking less these days because my health is going way south. I am not just cutting down. I just don't feel up to it anymore, even while I am walking. Don't get me wrong. I love my pipes, and i love my tobaccos. I just literally have a hard time doing much at all aside from my reading and sleep. Writing has come to a complete halt until my medicines are fixed. Take care of yourselves . . . Peace / love & GOD Bless you man !! Godspeed

a 50/50 mix of Butternut burley & the last of an unknown black cherry aro, a now discontinued sutliff product. I see Newminster has a bulk black cherry; might have to try that, plus I've been wanting to try the Blackberry Brandy! oh... the pipe is a Ben Wade Reflection, and the hazelnut coffee is hot and sweet!

Rattray’s Black Mallory in my Savinelli Autograph Mignon partially blasted Fan. How big is this pipe? Is it like a whole plateau block, or does it fit comfortably in hand? The Autograph Mignon line are small pipes. This Fan is clenchable. Here’s a pic with a quarter:

I’m sitting outside near a beautiful garden enjoying a bowl of 5 Brothers tobacco with my friend. We BOTH want to thank Mr. Scrooge for his thoughtfulness and generosity. This is a straight up burley shag cut tobacco that goes superbly with a rich dark espresso or coffee. I’ve never smoked this particular tobacco prior but I just ordered a bunch of pouches to share and take back home once I decide what day I’m leaving to head back to Long Island. Also ordered a few different bulk tobacco’s from Pipes and Cigars with a 20% discount on all Sutliff bulk tobacco’s. I placed the order with a simple phone call, I wanted to make sure the package will be shipped to the hotel where I’m staying. Also ordered two Savinelli 320KS pipes. Definitely my favorite shape Savinelli, excellent smoking pipes at a very reasonable price.

Last night I started a bowl of PS EOS in the Kaywoodie Hi-Bowl which I finished early this morning. Compared to the Newminster EO it is a bit smoother and less tangy, very light hand with the Orientals but still there. Enjoyable none the less. Moving on to a bowl of Lux Twist Flake in the dwarf cobbit. Pretty obvious how this one will go Each pipe holds a library of stories. From those who have smoked them previously to those who steward them to their next destination. When it was smoked, what was smoked out of it, how long it sat, what was happening in ones life when they got it? Each time we smoke we breathe life into these stories, whether we know them or not, and write new ones without even trying. Memories are connected with and new ideas are inspired. Just wanted to show appreciation to those who keep the stories going! Hope you are all well.
