I am kind of liking CULT Abacus. It seems to be a fantastic "leave me alone I am smoking" tobacco. Great smoke when I am too angry to see people.
Its hard to explain.

Captain Black Original in an old Carey magic inch billiard, the bowl is covered with some of the nicest ring-grain I've seen on a pipe of this sort ,enhanced by an antique shell/ish blast.... smoothed in some spots by loving hands. Many would dismiss this pipe as a "beater"; I see him as a fine old gent who does his job with style and charm.

I forget what I had first, tonight. I guess that's how memorable it was. Then some Sutliff Red Ribbon in the little pot. After that, some 50/50 Newminster Navy/OGS that McWiggins game me. It's a surprisingly good blend for such a simple combo.

Count Pulaski in a Squashed Tomato on the way to work. Underwhelmed. The Burley I got out of it wasn't bad. It was a little stingy, the blend in general.
