Aaron Paul was on Kimmel last night talking about the new Breaking Bad movie, 'El Camino.' It will premiere on Netflix tomorrow.
I am super excited about this. 'Breaking Bad' is in my holy trinity of best TV shows, along with 'The Wire' and 'The Sopranos.'
Hope I won't be disappointed. Vince Gilligan hasn't failed me yet.

I've heard of it, but hadn't gotten around to checking it out. Thanks for the recommendation!

I had no idea this was coming. Will you have to have watched 'better call Saul' first?

I had no idea this was coming. Will you have to have watched 'better call Saul' first? No, this appears to take up where Breaking Bad ended. Saul, of course, is a prequel.

Breaking Bad is top of the heap. That's a tall bar and I hope El Camino can reach it.

So what did everyone think? I loved it. I’m not going to go into specifics for those who haven’t watched It yet, but if you’re a BB fan, you will not be disappointed. Please share your thoughts.

I agree. Don't want to spoil anything, but I will say Jesse deserved to have his post BB story told. Well done.

Bing, bing, bing, we have a winner! El Camino is top of my list, but I have tons of BB and FB to get through today! My trinity, too. I thought Mad Men was great, but takes a fourth place here. I missed most of The Sopranos when it first aired. But finished the whole series by May 2017 in time for a trip to NYC and NJ, where my wife and I did a bit of a tour of the, ah, crime scenes. The strip club was closed when we stopped by.

I agree with that trilogy too and MM in 4th place. I also credit Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, and The Shield for laying the groundwork that made them possible.

(1) Mad Men - The greatest show ever. (2) Breaking Bad (3) The Sopranos
Prior to Mad Men, The Sopranos was number 1. I love 'Better Call Saul". In my opinion, it's really part of Breaking Bad, as is 'El Camino'.

Got half way through El Camino last night before the lids started descending. Pretty good.
My wife doesn't think she'll like Breaking Bad. In a year or so I'll have forgotten enough detail to make it almost like watching anew. My dollar is on she'll love it after a couple of eps.

Well, thanks to Wolfman, I am a Netflix member again. Have watched Breaking Bad 5 times, so had to see this. I liked it and will watch again to pick up on all the Gilligan touches. I was very dismayed to learn that Robert Forster died of brain cancer (78 years) 4 days ago, as the film premiered.

Blondie and I watched it Sunday evening.
We were both BB fans, as well as BCS fans...
That being said, we enjoyed El Camino, but did feel that it was a bit slow in places.
YMMV

I think that is a fair assessment. Basically a storyline of revenge and hopeful redemption. I think one's expectations are high with this project and nearly impossible to meet, owing to the high ground Breaking Bad occupies.
