Is this the pipe where some don't like the ferrule?   This is the same pipe! Sometimes photos, due to shadows or highlights, will show gaps or bumps that aren't there. Can't tell for sure, but there's quite a difference in the two photos. So the ferrule might be flush, and it might not. |

I have a Basil Meadows Bing, and am happy with it.
I have no interest here other than share some experience that I've gained from photography and examining pipes over the years.
Not sure what you refer to when you say, "NO difference either way brother."
