25F, overcast and not going to warm up much today; however, 50s and 60s are on tap for the weekend beginning tomorrow and there's not a day with a high below 40F in the 15 day forecast. That would almost get us to March which means it may be the last day and night for the wood burner this winter. It's also time to put grass seed on my list next time I'm out and about and think about sharpening lawnmower blades and tuning up the mower again, ugh. Starting off today with Mac Baren Va #1 in a smooth two star 1/8th bent Mark Tinsky Sunrise billiard with a swirl amber stem, on my second cup of coffee, listening to NPR on the box and getting ready to bring in some more firewood.

Starting off my smoking day with Granger in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple with a black vulcanite stem. Simply Apple is my drink. Going to have a busy day today running errands, visiting family, and stuff.

A third of the way through this bowl of Uhle’s Perfection Plug Burley in my old reliable 1986 smooth Peterson Kildare 999 Rhodesian with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. A cup of Maxwell House, neat, is my drink. Up early to take care of a few projects. Suzy decided I was worth keeping company, and has stayed by my side. I guess that's my reward for opening a fresh can of tuna. Molly's snoozin' by a heating vent, uninterested in moving about... for now.
