Dang the article is gone but here's my Reigel's story. Grew up in Fort Wayne. It being a different era (home by dark),about 12 years old I'd walk the allies downtown with my ahole buddies...Coney Island hot dogs, a magic/costume shop etc...ending up at Reigel's to read the magazines and maps at the back of the store. It being the rust belt 70's I imagine we did some dreaming of escaping the midwest malaise. Still prefer paper road map to eletronic maybe because of the place. Probably 90/10 pipe to cigar ratio back then. Got my first Macanudo or similar and a dirty magazine when I turned 18 I think. Flash forward 30+ years and it's 90 percent cigars when I go back. In what now is the immortal words of Tom Petty: "Everything changes and changes again."

I typically don't copy and paste articles, because at one time doing so put me at the center of a quarter million dollar lawsuit as co-defendant, by a bottom feeding attorney that the Las Vegas Journal gave the rights to go after anyone that did so. In the end, the forum owner named Jason settled out of court for a dollar amount that I agreed to not disclose....I tried to get the forum owner to fight it, but he wanted to cut his losses...He banned me for life from his forum, even though everyone copied and shared articles there at the time...I just happened to be the lucky poster. His forum: forums.1911forum.com/The bottom feeding outfit: www.righthavenvictims.com/2011/02/Eventually, they overstepped their bounds as they shook down a lot of non-profits...finally a judge put an end to the nonsense, only after millions were paid out though. My case: dockets.justia.com/docket/nevada/nvdce/2:2011cv00008/78547/Reason for "dismissal" Bullshit, I signed the documents that I agreed to...Jason paid, I thought it was ridiculous... Sorry for the thread drift. I doubt it would ever happen again, but it sure sucked that I had a cloud looming over me....by that time they had prevailed over Lew Rockwell, I figured that if they were able o do so with him, I was toast.

As far as the article goes, I believe it had to do with regulations..I cannot dig up anything.

Reading about that Charlie Brown guy seems like a real shithead.... legalize weed and ban tobacco.
He will probably go after sugary drinks next, before he promotes legalizing opiates without a prescription... he does represent Gary Ind...

I want to find a hobby to crush the life out of. Also to tell grown adult people how I am going to save them from themselves. With the number of people doing it , must be fun.

I believe it's Hawaii that has medical marijuana, but it's illegal to smoke in your own home, if you share at least one wall with a neighbor, so apartments and townhomes. That seems only enforceable if someone rats on you.
I lived in an apartment once in a Dallas suburb, that put out a notice that the city was prohibiting all apartment dwellers from owning! a grill, and they were going to do spot inspections. Not from grilling mind you, from freaking owning a grill. Made me want to go buy about a hundred grills and tell them to come on by.

Here in Arizona, when they have a no-burn day, it is unenforceable if you are cooking food. A buddy of mine in California had beautiful property loaded with oak trees, and burning leaves was banned....but his buddy at the fire department told him as long as he had a grate with a few strips of bacon on it he was exempt...hey, people have to eat. My son lived in a pretty nice apartment in California where the residents were prohibited from having their own grills, and they supplied community grills throughout the complex, but the management team did a piss poor job of maintaining them...if you wanted to grill some steaks, all of the nasty crud the other residents left behind was grilled onto your food...burnt sugar based sauces flavored your food. Long term smoking a butt or ribs wasn't going to happen on them garbage grills.
