Hi folks,
My name is Gig and I live in a country town called Wagga Wagga, located in the state of New South Wales in Australia. I'm interested in pipes, tobacco, fly fishing, fly tying and water colour painting. Yes it all keeps me busy as well as a full time job.
I love reading about all the different tobaccos which I cant get due to the taxes and can only drool with some of the descriptions. That's unfortunate for me buts that's life.
I hope all is well with you all and would like to firstly thank you for accepting me as one of your fellows and secondly would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Yo gig - tis been awhile since we've chatted on SF and FAOL. Hope you are getting some ffishing with those fires we're reading about. At least you don't have the winter conditions right now, so hopefully the bugs are out and the trouts are rising.

Welcome Gig, yeah the Australian taxation is over the top, but one member from Australia was able to amass a decent cellar and for the most part avoided the customs goons.

Welcome to the patch. I'm in the UK, which has high prices for tobacco compared to USA, but it's nothing like what you have to deal with. I hope you can still enjoy your pastime with what you have.
