will be two fish frys from diner after putting away groceries. Either cod or haddock depending on their wholesale cost. Can't tell the difference, big portions. Diner now on take-out only.

Was needing some comfort food. Made up a big pot of pasta aglio e olio. Generally it's done with spaghetti, but I like to use elbows sometimes, as you can shove more of them in your gob with a big tablespoon.

That is just the way they served it at my alma mater- La Vendetta, eh, La Veranda, a Sicilian ristorante in Mill Valley, California in the 1960 and 1970s.

forgot I took a picture here it is. I think I’d bake it less next time the crust got a little to crisp in the edges for my liking but it was really good.

Shake And Bake Pork chops and Bob Evans potatoes au Graten Ron, not trying to be a smart a$$ or anything, but do they still make Shake and Bake or home recipe? Gosh that brand brings back fond memories when I was a kid.

Breakfast was one El Monterey Breakfast Burrito with Applewood Smoked Bacon and one fried egg. Both topped with Goya Brand Salsa Verde which is the best I have had from a market in a while. It is a bit spicier than La Victoria Green Salsa.

Gosh that brand brings back fond memories when I was a kid. Yep, pretty often. I actually used another brand last night. But it is a quick and easy way to make pork chops when I am not feeling creative.

Discovered, in the back of a cabinet where I had exiled it several years ago, one of those George Foreman Fat Reducing grills. Tried it on venison burgers and it produced the best yet. I have only 5% beef fat added to my ground venison so there is very little grease, but it still produced superior burgers. Not much fun to clean but it will be my go-to burger cooker, for a while anyway.

Clumsy but easier than the little scraper.

mine remove,non-stick surfaces. Quick rinse then leave 'em soak overnitem air dry during the day. Soon to be Zweigle's skin-on white dawg on grill, 12mins @300f. Side of Musselman's smooth applesauce & to TV for 6pm local/national CBS news feed. Later with Jeopardy as company, store brand tea & cookies. White dawgs seem to be familiar in Western NY area (or mail order). Mostly pork.

Mine doesn’t and I don’t want to get the electrics wet. Gonna try a toothbrush. Nothing removable. I do not immerse it in water, just prop it up so the water runs across the grill surface one side at a time. I scrub with a sponge. It is sealed well enough. Has to be for UL certification. Also, I unplug it while washing because I smart!! If it gets wet inside, it will like drain and if it shorts then, gee, I will have to buy another.
