So, I got up a 10:00 PM. Heated up a Butternut squash I baked yesterday, one charbroiled lamb chop, and one small gold potato. So far, so good.
Next, it is back to bed and my book.

I butternut squash and candied pecans and a nice sirloin so dinner should be good in the swamp. Breakfast was leftover pepperoni penne with a egg over easy on top with a small glass of Fess Parker syrah. The Santa Barbra coast wines go under the radar but the wineries there are getting up into the thirty year mark and produce very good wine.

The Santa Barbra coast wines go under the radar but the wineries there are getting up into the thirty year mark and produce very good wine. I used to enjoy Santa Cruz County wines. There was an old Italian American winery with limited production from the coastal stream valleys. Monterey County is also good. Nowadays, my California wine comes in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. They are even Varietals like Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. Bargetto is the one in Santa Cruz County. Then there is Randall Graham's "Bonny Doon" winery but most of the production comes from elsewhere in the state.

Bagel with cream cheese and started the braised beef ribs with caramelized onions, guajillo chili, Russian fingerlings all braised in a balsamic and red wine reduction. Then onto slow stove top and the lowest setting until falling off the bone. This is the old way to cook them and takes all day but the results are far better than a Crock pot or boiling them.

Late breakfast / early lunch of 3 fried eggs, 2 Jimmy Dean sausage patties and 3 pieces of toast. Man O man!!!! My Doctors would do backflips But I do love me some Jimmy Dean sausage, and eggs cooked within an inch of their life; no runny eggs for me! Throw in some hash browns , and I'll bring the coffee, Herb.
