Beef ribs and an acorn squash roasting in the oven.
I take a quick pass on the ribs and pass them on to Izzy, one at a time. Man, she does she love a meaty bone!!!
The squash I put in whole. My new way. Once cooked and cooled a little, I peel and mash. It seems to cook better while whole. I can fork out most of the seeds which I put in the skillet or back in the oven to brown and crispen.

T-bone for two with scalloped potatoes from a box and some steamed broccoli. Real Salt from Utah and fresh cracked pepper a good steak needs nothing more. This steak appears to check all the boxes for not needing anything else. The Palm steakhouse once released their recipe as salt, black pepper and splash of Tabasco red and worcestershire sauce. If you are ever in Miami check it out.

If you are ever in Miami check it out. The Palm in West Hollywood was our favorite restaurant when we lived in Los Angeles. I usually had a Ribeye, Pittsburg style. It was best to get there around 5:30 before they got too busy, so the Grill Man could attend to it properly before he was busy. The wife mostly had a lobster. I sure miss that place. The waiters were great. Knew their stuff.

Kim made meatloaf with corn and baked taters. The way she's been feeding me it's no wonder I gained ten pounds over the winter.

Besides, we know the whole family and watched the kids grow up.

Just got back from an awards banquet at the highschool for the wrestling team. They ordered in 5 pizzas fron the local small-town pizza shop for a room full of teenagers and their families. There wasnt near enough, and to say that the pizza quality was sub-standard would be generous. But its late now, so I reckon I'll just have a bowl of cereal and go to bed. I think I'll have Apple Jacks, just to cheer me up.

NY strips tough as shoe leather with sweetcorn in a jalapeno avocado sauce. Going to a real grocery store tomorrow and restock the meat. The local yokels have been raiding the stores down in H-town wiping out entire stores. This morning they were showing folks wrapped around a HEB like a wallyworld with a cheap Barbie before Christmas.
