It is the home of famous musicians like Rock Star Don Henley, Blues Legend Aaron T-Bone Walker, and others. Davey Crocket and his Tennesseans spent the night there on the way to San Antone. He may have taken a dump in Mr. Peabody's outhouse. Chester Nimitz had to change a tire in Linden while driving east to the US Naval Academy. Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker robbed a bank there while being pursued by Frank Hamer and his posse. John Wesley Hardin, born further north in Bonham, is reputed to have shot a dog and and a state senator in Linden. Pretty famous place I should say, eh?

“ Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker robbed a bank there while being pursued by Frank Hamer and his posse.
John Wesley Hardin, born further north in Bonham, is reputed to have shot a dog and and a state senator in Linden.”
Ron is really going to have to pull out all the stops to overshadow them in the history of Linden.

Hardin had a second wife he married in Junction Tx at the Hodges hotel he had to run out the back door to evade capture. But not before he knocked her up. That my friends is my friend Hardy Hardin came to be the great great great grandson of the meanest man in the west. Hardy stands 5.2 weighs 300lbs and wears a size six brogan. Yep I know the net says he married a Callie Lewis from London Tx and they had no children. The net is wrong and they stayed shacked up at the hotel for five days waiting on the annulment. Hardy has no idea where the hell Linden is.

Looked at some property today and had a nice lunch. Tons of folks out on bikes and cars where parked everywhere in the Sam Houston National Forest trying to get on the hiking trails. Now watching a Hallmark movie where every woman is single mother hotty who lives in gorgeous home with no apparent source of income. Who falls in love with some guy with no ear lobes who has a lame arse job yet somehow has tons of money. There is never a TV. They will fall in love attending lame community sponsored county fairs. All while being set to a holiday theme. From now on you will start to notice that Hallmark male actors have no ear lobes and it will creep you out too.

I put together a plastic tool shed. Backyard still looks like crap but at least all the yard tools I collect but never use are now safe from the rain.

When I was 12 my Grandfather was moving equipment to another field, one driver was sick, he asked me can you drive that combine to the field, you drive my truck to the store. Naturally I said yes. I climbed to the seat, Grandpaw put a pillow on the seat, I fired it up and followed the tractors and other combines, it wasn’t far, but man was I thrilled, I was a big boy now.

Stayed up till past midnight watching a movie with the missus, the newest incarnation of Tomb raider. As much as I enjoyed Jolie's version I think I liked this one better. If you're of a mind to watch such movie types I recommend it highly.

The ED called looking for a Pregnancy test result on a lady that had been bitten by a dog. I said, "It's negative, I guess the dog ONLY bit her" … they were not as amused as I'd hoped!

Well we're trying to load the trailer and a damn tropical storm is blowing in! That's what we get for not watching the news I guess. I was planning on taking the trike up on Tuesday and I still might. It's waterproof and I won't melt.
