My wife's Yorkie bit the crap out of my hand a couple of weeks ago. I wanted her put down but the wife wouldn't have it. I picked her up and put her on the floor anyway. She ran right back up her steps and started licking me. It was dark in the room and I was grabbing her chewy, but that's no excuse! Next time I will lock her out of the room for a whole minute!

Got a bunch of mowing done, finished some needed maintenance on a couple of windows, gonna go haul off a bunch of brush once my dinner settles. Dont want to go back to work too soon after eating, I might get a cramp and drown. That's dan-ger-ous.

My dad had a really low bar of acceptance for dogs that were disloyal.
If the dog showed any aggression to the livestock, it was Dog+Burlap bag+ Rocks= watery grave for Fido. Therefore, I never harassed the livestock.
Not saying that it was right, but it was, what it was, he was a very hard man after the Korean War and four tours in Vietnam.

I was just looking at the scar where a neighbors dog almost removed my thumb some years ago. Still have nerve damage. A Pyrenees did not approve of my talking to his mistress. So he grabbed my hand just to let me know this was HIS place. This old gal lives way out off the grid and alone. She rarely had visitors and I think I know the reason why. The dog was protecting her. I was dropping off a food carton.

Good Morning on this special Sunday,
After a long night during which time I was interviewing a South African General while eluding his rival's secret police, I finally woke up in a state of extreme confusion and grogginess. So, please excuse any of my usual stupid remarks.
I hope your Sunday is filled with health and good times.

Drinking coffe, texting Daughter in Mandeville about starting her above ground pool she got for her teenagers , boredom, she grew up with a pool, I had one on farm when we had them for summers when they were little. Ran her thru size of extension cord, starting it up on salt, no red eyes and better control of your water. She set that booger 18 by 48 all by herself with kids help, husband in Dubai. I taught her good, she’s the one who came home and husband had tore down his shotgun and couldn’t put it back together, she did. Taught her like my boys.

I found a good use for my old vape juice! It works well on my sharpening stone! Probably the best use you can put that vape juice to. Slightly overcast day here in central north Florida...somewhat chilly and damp...good day to sit on the porch like us old fellers do...smoking a pipe and reading.

Cloudy and warm in SE Texas today. We attended Palm Sunday services at Mosside Presbyterian with Father Andre from our couch, then on to Kroger where we acquired TOILET PAPER, paper towels, and other things needed around the house. Milk, eggs, etc. Don't be the crowd!

I spent 3 hours on the car yesturday replacing crap and bleeding lines. Today I took a different approach and removed the front bumper so I wouldnt have to lay across my engine and work upside down.
It's amazing how 1 little spring can make a car inoperable!
Ugh.... time for a pipe

I decided to work, outside only, with only materials that I already have.
So it's going to be a few days of scraping and glazing windows

Stupid, stupid, stupid car!
I'm 95% sure that my problem is my clutch not fully disengaging. I've adjusted my pedal, I've bleed the lines for hours, I even have the threads on the master cylinder so theres only 2 hanging on...
I guess it's time for a new clutch and pressure plate. While it's off, I might as well throw a new flywheel on there too.
This car is like my previous wives, a pure love/hate relationship.

That is why I quit working for the most part on my cars..it keeps me off eyewitness news at 11. I had to break out a bigger suitcase for my out of town trips. Typically I stay at nice hotels, but even then, there are always clues that the housekeeping could do a better job. Last week it was an uncapped pen with the previous guests notes scribbled on the pad...It was a roughneck hotel near New Mexico oil fields. The wife made me face mask, one for each day of the week, today I was never within ten feet of anyone, so no need to wear one.

Another beautiful warm sunny day here in central north Florida observing distance rulings and keeping 6 feet from anyone in the neighborhood...an easy thing to do since no one is out and about. Having too many open jars of different tobacco is a problem as I always reach for whatever is handy rather than trying something different....1st world problems.

Spent the morning researching Singer sewing machines for wife, she’s bought a passel of them at thrift marts, Goodwill. Most are made in the 40s, Older Son wants a machine to sew Cordura and leather for gun mats. Hers were all made in Elizabeth N J.

There's a big difference in sewing heavy fabric.

Anyone know how to work a petrol strimmer? I can't get the bloomin' thing to work! If they haven't been used they are notoriously hard to start. Dump any remaining fuel. Add oil to the gas first before adding to the tank. Let it set for 10 minutes. If it has a choke, use it. If it doesn't start then check the spark plug. If that looks OK try again. Then take it to the shop.
