I would to spend some time with a true, knowledgeable cigar aficionado, and smoke cigars with them, and have them tell me what it is that I am experiencing.
I know when I like them, but I cant define what it is that I actually like.
I can separate flavors in the cold draw now, and that has been eye-opening. But I cant do that with the smoke.
I feel like such a cigar Neanderthal ππ
I wish I could expand my cigar universe beyond "good" and "bad"

Thatβs probably the best way to get flavors out of your lit cigar

One suggestion is to purge your cigar once in a while. By inhaling you warm the oils of the cigar, giving off flavor. If you purge now and then. You get rid of the smoke just lingering in the cigar ruining the taste of the tobacco. π

Absolutely gorgeous day here in Pinehurst. High was 72, clear blue skies.
Blondie and I got up, hopped on the Harley and rode into the village for a couple of coffees (Blondie Mocha for her, I know fitting right? And a Latte for me) at the Roast Office, a converted 100 yo post office.
This afternoon I met my buds down @ the B&M, The Match Box. It was a Robusto kinda day. Started off with an Ashton Robusto, then had a couple of Cuban Monte Cristo Double Robustos.
A fine, fine day indeed.

Quesada Tributo Alvaro 54/6 while I wait for MFAT@MFT to show up and fix my DSL line. At least the ceegar kicks arse. Running on Verizon hot spot costs to darn much money but it is faster than ATT land line go figure.

PDR Small Batch Maduro Special R 52/3.7 Brazilian Habano Maduro Ligero wrapper for some reason I like this better than the Wicked Pug. These sticks are cheap as HE double L 12 for 20 bucks shipped at cigar page. The PDR 1878 is a better cigar but not by a whole lot and these are perfect with a venti coffee outside on the patio. My sticks have been hanging out in the humidor for right at a year and the results were very good.

I bought 2 of the Rocky Patel Twentieth Anniversary Maduros at the B&M yesterday. Having the second one now with a fresh cup of black, french roast coffee.
Pretty good pairing.
