Drew Estates Java Latte. It is the only brand of fru-fru cigar in my inventory, but they really suit my mood on lazy, laid back Sunday afternoons.

Is humidity in your house 75% Most humidors are set at 70% I believe so I wouldnt think you should have too much of a problem. Cuba, Nicaragua, Central America is pretty humid...always. They smoke the crap out of cigars and most dont have humidors.

Some of my cigars I smoked just fine then some I try to fire up and they just wont smoke. They stay lit and whatnot but draw is tight and not actually pulling much smoke thru the cigar.

Unfortunately, some are just rolled tight. It happens and ticks a person off! Just a bad cigar. They make a tool to shove down cigars to open a path for air, think skewer, but I have no experience with it, it common & inexpensive, but I would rather cuss, break & toss the tight &$ away.

So maybe run a wooden skewer down thru the center of these ones that wont smoke? I'll give it a shot. Thanks! You're pretty right on with getting pissed and throwing them out though. I'll grind em up for snuff or something maybe.

Boveda packs are your friend here ... get one of the 65% packs and it will help bring down the moisture. Also, a separate "dry box" is helpful to place fresh cigars for a few days while they rest. Did you look up the "tupperdore" info by chance?

All my fresh rolled cigars are going into the dry box and my premiums into the tupperdore when I get some bovada packs

Frequent opening / burping of the Tupperware helps that come back down. Most "real" humidors have some type of air circulation and, when I change to a "Coolerdore" I'll add a small computer fan for that purpose.

IMHO, I'd skip the refillable discs and just go with the Boveda packs ... less fuss.
Also, and this is just me, if a particular cigar has poor construction once or twice it's OK. However, any more frequency than that and I'll not buy them again ... too many good ones available.

Thats why I don't have a tool kit for Ceegars. Toss & cuss.

Ive been buying the large, square-sided glass jars with the wire bale closure and rubber seals for a lid. They hold about 25 sticks comfortably. I put a boveda pack in each jar, and it works great. I can put an order in one jar, and just put it in the back of the rotation to rest. I picked up a pack of 4 of the jars for $24.00. Im smoking a Cohiba Nicaragua right now, and I really like these cigars. About 3.20 off of cigarbid, makes me feel richer than I really am.
