I've smoked two of those, so far, and they have been very disappointing. The smoke was astringent and there were construction issues. It could be the way they were stored and I got a bum batch but I won't touch the other three for at least 6 months. |

That's how I felt up to mid year , but realized I had ordered so much tobacco, and cellared it, that I had enough to last me the rest of my life and beyond. All I can say is, I hope wherever I go they let me smoke my pipe. |

When they get in something damaged the out of stock comes off it and you can order as many as they have. At which point it goes back to out of stock again. |

I went to the parcel locker and although USPS shows my $170.00 box of cigars as delivered this morning, the key to the locker in my mailbox was full of a neighbor's parcels. I delivered the packages to the house and a couple teenage giggling girls couldn't wait to close the door. I asked that if my package comes to their box, could they drop it off? 'Where do you live" "My address should be on the package, but I am the last house on the right with the American flag" I hope the man of the house doesn't like cigars....this is happening all too often, and some want us to trust the USPS to all mail in elections.  |

I would just add, another neighbor brought my boots after they opened it, obviously they did not fit her feet.
I always look at the label before I open something, but I may be a rare bird.

Ive never tried the Punch before, the Charter Oak is pretty good for the price, as are the Inspirados.

Finally got a new pistol barrel I ordered back in March!
It's a "conversion barrel". It's a 9mm barrel, made to fit in a 40 cal Walther. Got 1 9mm magazine with the barrel.
I installed the barrel, loaded the mag with 9mm ammo and racked all the rounds through the gun. Seems to work fine.
The real test will be at the range of course.
One thing I'm wondering about is the recoil spring. There is no mention of needing to put in a "9mm" recoil spring.
Guess I'll find out at the range.

Just got my Smith & Wesson Shield 45 in. Very nice, think it will work quite nicely as my carry. 😀

I play correspondence chess with a friend from another forum. He offered me a taste of Crooner, so I said sure. Care package arrived yesterday with Salty Dog, Kings Ride, and PS 41. (He mislabled the PS 41 as Crooner, so I got that instead LOL)
Really cool guy! (Also a fair hand at chess)

Go ahead, everyone will just ignore it. 😁🤠 After watching the news this morning, if I'm traveling in Portland or Seattle it would be my Star 30M, with the 30 round magazine. A 45 is best for normal situations, but if I'm going into a combat zone then a battle pistol is needed. Call it crowd control. I would probably take a couple of the 17 round mags too as I should have plenty of time to reload after the first 30. Disgusting, even to a deplorable like me. |
