I just sent an email to .460Rowland company and instructed them to cancel my 70.00 ammo order and refund my money. I ordered it over a month ago, didn't recieve delivery of the order, never recieved any more communication from them. Although they were quick to withdraw the money from my account upon receiving the original order. The lack of communication bothers me more than the lack of service. I understand the shortage of components. But if thats the case, at least drop me a line. So this is a post of what's NOT in the mail. Roll your own. It will be winter there soon and you can get everything you need to reload for less than you might think. It's easy. Any reloading manual will have the instructions. documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:653cb30c-3734-4b88-8aed-23a3106cd82b

So that is on hold too. We've got a bunch of .44mag loaded, so I'm ok. Big bore needs are covered.

Nothing pipe related but I got some merch from a video game I like. And a couple of graphic novels I backed on Kickstarter last year.

I tried to stop myself but the call was to much for me. Just ordered the new C&D Carolina Red flake for my celler. 25 of them. That's my tobacco budget for a while. Have not even told the wife yet. π

chasingembers I just finished watching it. Well done. The man does amazing things, I'm in love with my latest one from him. I thought the previous one was as perfect as they got, but again, I was proven wrong. Looks like we're tied at 4!

I am awaiting a leather sheath for my Buck 119. Arrived yesterday. Wow, the fit and finish is wonderful. I was tempted to purchase a leather dangler, but caught myself before my fanboy alter ego had full control. I am not gonna wear a six inch fixed blade knife on my belt. I cannot think of a single good reason. Most of my knife uses are the kinds of things you do camping, turning big pieces of wood into kindling and cutting long pieces of paracord into shorter pieces of paracord. A friend of mine carves these exquisite miniature whisky bottles out of bass wood, and I am going to learn some of that. So now I am only awaiting a CD from Amazon. Asleep at the Wheel doing yet another wonderful Bob Wills tribute.

Trying a new tobacco from Wilke Bulk Tobacco. Ordered some of their Royal Cherry to see how it compares to their Cherry Cavendish. How DOES it compare? I've only smoked the Royal Cherry once, but it's a tart cherry, where Cherry Cavendish I'd say is mildly sweet. I much prefer the Cherry Cavendish, but the Royal Cherry will be fine for a "once in a while smoke" for me.

I liked it, but it's a more tart cherry than the Cherry Cavendish blend. I personally prefer the Cherry Cavendish - but I'll keep some Royal Cherry around for when I feel like a change.

I just talked to Jim about the difference and he said the same thing, so you are in good company. π
