I have watched all the John Wick movies i think i like the second one the best. Now if they could just add some fighting and death they might have something.

Ive seen all 3, and I actually went to the theater to see John Wick III. Im not being tongue-in-cheek when I say that Hallie Berry was the only sour note for me in the whole series. She couldnt pull it off. I know tough, Ive seen tough, and she just couldnt convince me. But the rest of it? I love all of them.

Thanks. I will wait until it is released on DVD for the USA. The irony of watching a bootlegged copy of a movie about two famous lawmen is not lost on me. I don't think it's bootlegged, just sold out of market. It's a Netflix film and available for streaming everywhere. Media people are funny about licenses and geography. I do not stream because I cannot sit in front of the computer monitor for that long. My old tube TV does not stream movies. So, I may wait for a properly licensed disk. If that is not forthcoming, then I will stream it and sit here for the show.

I don't know Ron, when I worked in Houston, some of those city folk were pretty damned metro. Not tough at all.🤡 What part of town were you in? Not many Texans left in Houston. Most of the guys I worked with were native Houstonians. Some even had family roots going back to the original settlers in the area. Metro as hell.

If you have some 20 Mbps you can stream some pretty hi rez stuff.

I grew up with 3 younger sisters, and while I got a job at 12 for the summer, and worked after school most years from then on, they didnt. So I endured their teen years. Then when I met Shweetie and we started going out, she was 17. Then we eventually got married and raised 7 kids of our own. What am I saying? That I reckon I'll be tied up and pistol whipped as a sheep thief before Id actually sit and watch a movie filled with teen angst. 😅😁

It's really not "angst" so much. It's a teen age love story about a couple of young people who have to grow up too fast. And it really shows what a terrible disease CF is.

Since this area has been hard hit by the economic collapse of 2008 and never recovered, we were considered a worthy cause.

I am sure that it was money well spent. I am seeing the effects of Texas opting out of the Medicaid expansion in the closing of many rural hospitals. Most of the people who live in the NE Texas don't really care about the internet all that much.

Most of the people who live in the NE Texas don't really care about the internet all that much. the idea here was to find something to replace all the jobs which were lost when most every employer shut down. Telecommuting, working from home, whatever it is called. The goal was to bring some money into the local economy. Then there was the educational improvement for the kids by accessing more information sources. I have a few neighbors who work from home for corporations and are well paid. They spend money locally and that helps other people here. In 2009 when everything went to hell, money stopped circulating and it was bad here.

Veinteañera, Divorciada y Fantastica (2020). Paulina Goto gets divorced, tries to get her husband back and ends up finding herself. Two good jokes and, per usual with Mexican comedies, there is surprisingly good cinematography and poor film editing. Goto plays her chipmunk cuteness for all its worth.

Here there are a lot of communities that are simply so isolated that it's more cost-effective to move the inhabitants than to provide each community with government services. I've always kind of figured that many of those people prefer living far away from everyone else.

Watched 1917 the other night with Blondie, my sis in law and her husband.
Quite a good movie actually. Uniquely filmed however. No cuts from one camera to another. Seems to be one unending string of events without cuts.
