Ron said... β If Mexico City ever gets out of control, it will be a disaster that will spread like wildfire. 20 million people is like a black hole in the gravitational effects.β The end-game of the planet will be in its over-population. Everything is tied into that: government, geography, food supplies, human rights. Everything. (Sorry for the digression. Ron just pushed a button.) Sorry for pushing your button. I have a tendency to do that. ππ€

OK, I watched a movie recently. It was "Satellite in the Sky", 1958, UK production.
The first five minutes is devoted to the Vulcan Bomber which is lovingly depicted with orchestral fanfare. The Producers of this movie were quite proud of Britain's aerospace achievements back then. The movie has its moments of tension and is well acted by a cast of notable British actors.

If you like Jeff Bridges, try HELL OR HIGH WATER. Heβs a modern Texas Ranger on the trail of two brothers who rob banks to save the family farm. Very good stuff I saw that one in a Taos theater back when it was first released. Great story and well acted. The relationship between the two Rangers was fun to listen to. The scene at The T-Bone CafΓ© was worth the price of admission on its own. "What DON"T you want???"

Being a bit of a chess nut, and being home alone (bach'n it with Blondie outta town), I decided to hang out in the cave, smoke a pipe and watch Searching for Bobby Fisher.
Great flick for sure

Looks like the family wants to watch a movie tonight called "Midway". Not a big movie buff, especially with new movies, but I'll let you know what I think.

Disney's "Soul". It was really good and the combination of jazz, Picasso-esque art, and just great animation, along with a good story, made it well worth the family's time.

Midnight Sky. Just awful. Slow, boring, and the acting doesn't make you care about anyone. 1/10 Embryo-Born To Kill. Sci-Fi flick with Rock Hudson and Barbera Carrera. You'd think with the cast it world be good. You would be wrong, Grasshopper! 2/10.
