This morning after I sat outside and ate breakfast and smoked my pipe. I got up and carried everything in to the kitchen. Dumped my coffee cup into the sink and sure enough the spoon got loose and ended up in the disposal. Pulled it out thinking that sure made a lot of noise. finished rinsing the dishes and turned on the disposal. Well the ensuing noise sounding like, well like a spoon in the disposal. Nope, even worse than the missus good silverware. Still not sure how it happened.

I was seriously scared there was going to be a picture of a pipe down there.

Looks pretty good for going through a disposal. Straighten it out and get a few more years out of it.

Cool I like it. As many as I have purchased you think I would have at least one, even a mangled one would be nice. For sure now you will never lose it.

I was seriously scared there was going to be a picture of a pipe down there. My first thought also. My uncle Earl, leaned over to flush the toilet and his pipe anchored itself in the plumbing....a plumber brought it out and told him that the pipe may never smoke right again....Clench when you Stench!

It's a fine half-bent model now. See some tasteful rustication too, you've an eye for this.

I learned to do all of my after snack clean up before ever turning on the disposal for this exact reason. Imagine if a shot glass went down there with it running!

You had me going for a moment! I had images of a very mangled stem running through my mind as I scrolled down, or worse, half a bowl. Reminds me of when I asked my grown son if he had my old Meerschaum pipe. He said he did. Then he said his dog tried to smoke it. Fortunately, the stem was the only major casualty and it was easily replaced. There are a few tooth marks on he bowl, but I figure they add character and I'll always remember Jordan the dog when I smoke that pipe.
