Good morning all. Thanks for the educational post, Sid. Hope you are safe and healthy over there. Smoking a bowl of C&D Sun Bear in a Royal Dutch squashed something or other. Heading out to work shortly. Have a relaxing day, everybody. Have a few pipes.

Another trip through Johnnny's Garden, this time with a bit of P.S. Coffee blend added, in the same Leonessa billiard from last night...the base for this mix was about a half qt. of Mcclelland #27, no big deal in that era, but a really cool find these days...this stuff is a sweet, grassy poke in the kisser ,with a whisper of coffee in the exhale. The idea of adding anything to a McClelland va is just crazy, I know, but back in the learning years McClelland tobaccos were just a phone call away, Ahhhhh the good ole days!

GREEK INDEPENDENCE WAR of 1821As today at 25 March 1821 the Orthodox Greeks officially started the revolution against the ottoman empire fighting turks and their allies [muslims from albania, bosnia, egypt, croatia, algeria, tynice etc] to end a 400 year old tyranny and genocide. Their motto was "Freedom of Death" and in few areas where the turks never manage to invade was "Win or Death". 1821-2020: 199th Anniversary, "For Country-for God-for Family" ! I am smoking Petersen & Sorensen Blue Sapphire. Thanks, Sid. Vlad had it right with his campaign slogan "A Stake for Every Turk and a Turk for Every Stake!" πΊπ·ππ€ π€‘

I think I may have finally found a pipe tobacco that suits my palate and low-nicotine needs. Now smoking Castello Old Antiquari in a Peterson 80s bent bulldog with a vulcanite stem. A very smooth, balanced, and latakia-present English with a surprisingly low amount of nicotine. Olive Ridley Sea Turtle

More Brunello Flake in a Van Roy Magic Cake bulldog. I was not a fan of this blend at first. Fresh, it was a little raw. It's been sitting for a little over a year now, and it's very good.

2015 GLP Caravan in an old cob, sitting on the lava rock behind some old kapu burials on the big island. I never bring a pipe on work trips, but something about the apocalypse in paradise seemed to demand it. Weird times out here. Unknownpipesmoker, I like your random critter pics. I'll have to visit this thread more.

L' ENNEMI INTIME (2007) ,a War movie. Algeria 1959, here is Captain Berthaut a WWII veteran brutally tortured by Gestapo now fighting the guerillas. I am smoking Domaine de Lavalette No 8.
Ronv69 : Vlad Tepes act properly and gave them a characteristic example of what is waiting for them. Here in Greece our national hero Theodoros Kolokotronis said that for the turks and their allies has: Fire and Axle.

For all & OT. Would some techie guru or mods kindly start a thread "Toilet Paper searching" or close to same. My early (7am) wandering came up with....Grocery store & HD out. Got a 4roll Scot offering at WallyWorld. Rule: one pkg per day per customer. We have decent supply + cheap paper towels & paper hankies in stock. I forgot to write down the moves on paper for "start a thread" after pushing buttons everywhere I seen one to push...no results

I looked him up. He would have gotten along great with Sam Houston.
