Just Read...The World Health Origination says that the Virus can live on money..They say you should wash your hands after you handle money..Of course if you don't want to take a chance you could send it to me and I will get rid of it for you.

Money is the dirtiest item anywhere. You deal in cash, wash your hands. But if you need to wash your money I'll do it for a fee :-)

Some one want to explain to those here that are still young, what money is? In the days before autopay, swipe your card or wave your watch or phone in front of something to pay!

Ah Yes, the days of carrying a pocket full of cash and Uncle Sam not tracking your every purchase and putting your change in the little piggy at the end of the day. Now my little piggy is on a starvation diet and I have to be careful that the Humane Society doesn't find out.

I have a few dollars but they are pre end of the world virus so I should be safe.. Christy's employer has a large office in Seattle and they sent home 300 folks to work from home until they can figure out what this is and is not.

I still deal in cash quite a bit. Right now, well over half my income is paid in cash. The using of checks is slowly fading out because of years of abuse by dishonest people and fraud, and I surely dont take a credit card. (Can you see me out at some barn somewhere whipping out an iphone x with a doo-hicky stuck in the top and swiping a credit card with aplomb and great pride 😂😅) And the last time I took paypal, it cost me a crazy amount paid to paypal just to get my money.
Washing my hands is a small price to pay.

I used to carry a lot of cash, now my wallet sees none, I know my credit card numbers by heart to buy my necessary tobbaco products.

I seldom use cash. Card is so much easier and there is a record of the transaction.

I got an offer from AMEX that gives me 100,000 Hilton rewards points if I rack up $1,000 In 3 months... so all goods and services get paid that way going forward instead of using debit that offers nothing in return.
With my Hilton points already accrued, I am hoping that it is a long time before I ever have to pay for a room on my dime for personal travel.

Some one want to explain to those here that are still young, what money is? In the days before autopay, swipe your card or wave your watch or phone in front of something to pay! The goal: is a cashless society. Electronic "money" transactions require personal information, pass-words, PIN numbers and can and will be monitored. Using actual cash for private transactions, cannot be controlled, or, monitored. Control/monitor assets/wealth = controlling people, and enterprise. The concept of personal privacy and freedom from government intrusion.....is a thing-of-the-past....and too many, today....could care less.

still more cash than CC if less than $100. Course large purchases different story. Less the givment can trace ( under the table income or barter), the better.

Personally, I'm waiting for the day when I can get the chip implanted in my hand that carries all my info, including medical records, so I don't have to physically carry or remember anything. It will make life easier. I personally couldn't care less if the government tracks me, as I'm not doing anything illegal, nor am I planning on any subversive acts in the near future.

I pay for everything with AMEX, except for prescriptions because the independent we deal with doesn't take it. For us, the AMEX blue cash back works better because we don't travel as much as we did when we working. Best card company we have ever dealt with & we have them all. But we also carry cash. Some.

Given due time, with that attitude when the government controls you to that point, you can forget about individual liberties like smoking a pipe. If you are the chosen elite like in "The Hunger games" you might be ok...the rest of the serfs can pound sand. It is always wise to purchase firearms by cash between individuals, totally legal if you are not a felon, and you avoid the paper trail.I have been paying cash for several things recently on services rendered by tradesmen at the hacienda...a nice discount, and an agreement between gentlemen.

The problem comes when you do not get to define for yourself what is illegal, or what you consider subversive acts, but they do it for you. Then it’s too late.

We can't get rid of cash...too many illegal transactions require cash.
As an aside, one of my lawyer acquaintances did a criminal trial where the client was charged with drug possession because there were traces of cocaine on the money in his wallet. My friend got the judge to agree to allow the jury members to pull bills out, and those were tested. 7 of the 12 tested positive for cocaine. Dismissed.
