An ever so tasty 50/50 mix of Amphora's burley and C & D's Heritage...two or three puffs into this bowl and I put the pipe down and mixed my remaining Amphora burley with the same amount of Heritage, and into a small jar it went! The pipe is my Hillson bent egg.

With pretty much everybody in lockdown nowadays, the one redeeming thing here in the Sandhills is that our golf course is still open. Dining rooms and bars are closed, but the courses are still open. We all have to use seperate carts, not removing flagpoles etd...
So, last week, with the good weather I was able to get out 3 or 4 times.
Today was no different. Fortunately I'm able to work from home, so, when work was finished, I met up with 3 of my pals and we played a round on Pinehurst #1.
As is always the case, I had 5 or 6 cigars.
After dinner this evening with Blondie and our baby girl Jenni (21) I made my way up to the Mancave.
First bowl was a bowl of McClellands Anniversary (2005 white label).
Second bowl is some 2011 MM965.

I made a puck out of a tin of Germain's 1820, cuz I thought it was kinda just OK. Why not? Anyway, I just found it, so I'm having some of that in a MasterCraft Brandy-ish Billiard thing. It tastes a bit stronger, and richer.

Good morning Patchers. Well I’m off of work for the next 24 days. But I could be called in on 7 of them. So apologies to all of you, cuz lord knows what I’ll post here if I get bored😆 Starting out with a MM Legend with a half flake of HH Old Dark Fired with some MacB Virginia #1. Going to get a case of mason jars and start cracking tins in the cellar of things I’ve never had. First up this afternoon will be GL Pease Regents Flake tin date I purchased 5/17.

Butternut burley, my favorite smoke in a small Rhodesian by Ron as a special built for me beauty. That is a beautiful pipe. Thank you, Mike...it is one of the few treasures I have and have willed it to Josh (roadsdiverged) when my time of not smoking comes along with the pipes that I have at that time and my cellar as well...can't think of a more deserving gentleman to gift my treasures to. He has become a new man and one worthy of my respect and gratitude for his friendship.
