Just when you thought this thread hit rock bottom...there's another bottom under that bottom. To be fair, I set a pretty low bar to start. Black lace-up booties, floor length skirt over linen bloomers, white frilly shirtwaist, and a white bonnet. |

Those are just my water-totin' gloves. My luncheon gloves and my Sunday-goin'to-meetin' gloves are far more elegant.

I am wearing my travel vest.
It is one of those vests of a million pocket. Similar but less useful than a fishing vest, and also similar but less useful than what amateur photographers used to wear. The kind of vest that marks you as a tourist.
I use it for smoking. I have pockets for pipes, pockets for pipe cleaners, pockets for tamper and lighter and other tools, pockets for the tobacco I am smoking, pockets for the tobacco I brought just so as to have a choice of several tobaccos.
And it just so happens the leather roll up of tobacco I was looking to smoke was in the pocket of that vest, so I put the vest on, and haven't taken it off all day.
Smoking by beloved Billy Budd Blonde in a "handy, simple, and charming" Savinelli 626. In my smoking vest.
