After a bit of a break due to allergies, now having my first bowl of C&D Dreams of Kadath. The C&D Lovecraft series is quite interesting. Some of the blends are great. Some are a bit odd, heavy smoke filled with an incense like aroma. If I recall, Dreams of Kadath is like that. Gotta smoke those in a Meerschaum or Cob.

Smoked a bit of my newest blend, Burley Legal, on the way into work in an MM Legend Rob Roy. And the verdict is? Considering it was just chopped up yesterday, I'm quite pleased. Natural Burley leads the way but with enough Virginia that it's well-balanced. Prilep, the Oriental I used, is present throughout as a mild spice with occasional floral tones. Light Fire Cured Virginia adds mostly bag note and a bit of depth and woodiness. I think that for the final touch, I'll add a some Red Tips Burley that's been cubed and press it back into a Crumble Cake.

The plug was quite moist and it needed some dry time that I didn't give it, bottom of the bowl became too saturated (very high humidity is probably also to blame) and I had to dump it. Bit of a shame cause I was really enjoying it!

greets again hope well in the TGIF life. Wifie managed to do a little planting earlier, me do the cleanup. CokeClassic at desk, DGT'06 Blackpoint in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Soon off to get groceries & home with one fish fry (two would be too much for our very Senior bellies. One still plenty).

hoping for happy weekend to all. 2-miles power walks done earlier, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, '06 daVinci in Caminetto "Business" #174 & continue with the papers. To the Rez stores later & gas up the truck. The difference in our area... $2.25 unleaded regular at local Speedway, at the Rez stores...$1.99 per. That taking into account NY high gas taxes. For those who also do ciggies, Native brands $19-22/carton. Course no sales tax on anything. 15mins from me.
63, cloudy at present. Hope for more yard work in afternoon

Nice day here today. Sunny, just warm enough. Light breeze. Tried a couple new Sutliff flavors. Marzipan and Marachino. They're ok. So far nothing beats Dark Red or Spiced Rum.

Well, finished smoking and the mail arrived with a few packages - including some new tobaccos. So I tried the Hobbits Weed. I'm liking my first bowl of it very much. Strong cherry.
