Borkum Riff Mixture with Bourbon Whiskey in a Jursa apple with a really nice rustication. This is the only B.R. tobacco I get along with. I get some nice bread/ish notes from it ,if I puff slowly, and slowly is always a good idea anyway.

Back in AZ to get the motorcycle and ride back to Chicago. Should have done this the end of April. But we all know whats going on un the world. And yes, flying was interesting! I haven’t seen these pipes in 3 months. Or the jars of tobacco I have Open here. Not the same ad Chicago. So I will fire up some Smokers Haven In-B-Tween in the Castello , while I try and figure out where to start😆

Sutliff Spiced Rum in a Jobey Shellmoor 300. I was complaining yesterday how my older pouch of Spiced Rum had lost it's flavor and aroma. Today I tried the old pouch again - after adding a few drops of water to it yesterday. Seemed to help. Brought it almost back to normal. I need to get some storage jars. Later on had some Hobbit's Weed in a Alpha Cameo Volcano. First smoke of an "estate" pipe. Took half the bowl before the flavor started coming through. Maybe an old ghost had to be killed off. Where can I buy hobbits weed?

Jack Knife Plug in the Cavicchi. I tried this for the first time about 4 months ago. Had 3 bowls. It wasn’t doing much for me. Well today. It still isn’t grabbing me in any way. I will walk away, and try again next time I come to AZ.

I will walk away, and try again next time I come to AZ. I tried it fresh with my friend Scott on a pipe night. Both of us thought it was terrible. I bought half a pound of it from AJ that he had since 2014. THAT stuff is fantastic. Just like ALMOST ALL C&D, if you give it enough time (5-10 years), it'll be smokeable at some point.

Just tried C&D Dreams of Kadath for the first time in a Rattray’s Fachen. It’s okay, but will need a few bowls to feel it out. Moving over to Black Frigate in the Briarworks cutty.
After three days of 100 + degree heat, we’re finally at 77 degrees with cloud cover and some wind. Pleasant afternoon.
