We just watched this on Prime. Best adaptation of a Lovecraft tale I've ever seen.

He was telling me that one day on set, he was over there having lunch in the little cafeteria tent they had. Cage comes over and asks if he can sit with him. Q's like "Uh yeah sure." Cage sits down, pulls a little bowl thing out of one of his pockets, pours some water into it from a bottle, then pulls a hedgehog out of his jacket pocket and just let it run around on the table while they talked. Q said Cage is a really nice, really strange, and really lonely guy.

The version with Cage was actually very well done and well received. The story is hard to dramatize but the folks that did this were quite successful. There was a version done a number of years ago in German. It was also quite well done, but much darker. And in German.

Which brings us to the Question! Is dingobob really A Tarentino? Is he Ted? πΊπ βWhy couldnβt you just put the bunny back in the box?β Just kidding. πππ€

Is it true that if you go to a live play in Germany, they give out ponchos to the first two rows? Like a Gallagher show? ππΊπ€

Joe is my favorite Cage movie. Changed how I viewed him as an actor.

If I'm the closest thing y'all have to a celebrity, we're in trouble.

Joe is my favorite Cage movie. Changed how I viewed him as an actor. Joe was good, but my favorites are the ones where he melts down. No one can completely melt down like Nick Cage!

I enjoy reading a Lovecraft story now and again. Will have to try and see this one sometime.

Incidentally, I used to listen to a great podcast called hppodcraft.com. Mostly reviews of Lovecraft stories but they have some beautiful readings with music and sound effects added. Made for some awesome listening. Havenβt listened to podcasts in a few years but I might have to visit that one again. hppodcraft.com/full-story-readings/
