Fine looking pipes.

I just don't know how you got so good so fast. I mean you've been really good since your second pipe and you keep getting better. Have you ever been to the intersection of Highways 61 and 49 in Mississippi?

Have you ever been to the intersection of Highways 61 and 49 in Mississippi? I push myself and give a major crap about what I’m putting out there. I’m not trying to make money, just trying to make the best pipes I can. They’re still very reasonably priced for what you get, too.

Hahaha, I see I posted the donut prop pic. That was going to be the prop for the pipe resting on the nails. Those are the same pipe - donut and nails, I made the bottom smooth in that one.

Smoking one of my Cramp pipes now! And yes, I need another. Three is not enough.

Man, did I luck out with the rim on that last pot. That’s a real hen’s tooth right there.

I, too, have 3 of Jason's pipes...the last 2 are so good that I sleep with them under my pillow in case of fire or tornado. They would be the first things of value that I would grasp in my grubby hands. Don't know how Jason does it, but smoking his pipes is a joy... unlike any other pipes I have, they are the finest smoking pipes and they are so beautiful that they belong in a museum. My pipes are duplicates of #3 and #7 on the previous page (still haven't figured out how to post pics on my new laptop.)

Very nice! I especially love the blasted long saddle bit billiard and the 1/4 bent egg with the orange stem.

Nah, they’ve all been sold. Should I put them up for sale here in the future?

I have been away for a bit, but the pipe that Jason made for me is amazing, best smoker I have, even better than my Custom Boswell.
While he will not make me another one, I might see if I can get him to make me a new longer stem....LOL

New stem is possible, but not until after the new year.

What we need to see is a Bent Rhodesian Reverse Calabash, and by "we" I mean...well you know what I mean.
It is on my list of pipes to own.
Hope all is well J!

What we need to see is a Bent Rhodesian Reverse Calabash, and by "we" I mean...well you know what I mean. It is on my list of pipes to own. Hope all is well J! T Heres the thing about reverse calabashes. They're 99% bullshit. The second chamber is never large enough to create any real effect on the smoke. The ONE guy that I know of who made REAL reverse calabashes was Anthony Harris. They're terribly goofy looking, but the chamber is actually hollowed out to a size that would have a dramatic effect on your smoking experience. Here's some examples: www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/estate/united-states/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=239853www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/unsmoked-anthony-harris-pregnant-1922430374ETA: Harris actually MANUALLY chased threads in the opening of the calabash chamber in order to create a screw-in mortise plug to keep the chamber size large.

That was my thoughts on the reverse calabash too, until I got a little Al Pascia Curvey. It is amazing that it works at all, but it's noticeably cooler. Not as good as a real gourd calabash, but good.
