an old ,two dollar estate Carey billiard with black tape over the vents...the sandblasted sides have been almost worn smooth by the long dead hands of someone who loved and cared for the old fellow. Years ago I gave it a good clean and ream, but the outside shows the proof of a job well done ,and I like it the way it is. The tobacco is from a mixed bag of cherry blends that never worked alone, but have melded into a blend that, when sipped slowly, gives up a mellow cherry flavor that I like once in a blue moon.

Later, chauffer wifie to her 3-weeks anti-cancer "drip" ( is on an anti-biotic & can't motor herself). Yard work planned later, early afternoon

greets again all. Wifie got call after blood tests after the a.m. "drip" (anti-cancer med). Call about next week's Coumadin levels...seems a tad diff every day, has to write down. Her overall mentals in decent shape helps
Meanwhile, earlier a little yard work with DGT a.m. cigar for company. Seems some can handle DGT a cigar, others not. I can finish right down almost to the band. Now CokeClassic at desk, '06 Blackpoint in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. A snoozie next then to sups

Sutliff's Buttered Rum ,in a Savinelli Estella 616...sweet smoke with a good amount of light rum flavor...moist tobacco, but it burned evenly ,down to a white ash, with fewer relights than you'd think.
