Bald Headed Teacher ,in a Stanwell Legend ,a Tinder Box purchase from the late Seventies, I don't think I've smoked this guy enough to break it in good. Back then, I'd buy a new pipe on every payday, and this ole boy never did any real work...high time he earned his keep around here! One smoke, and one coffee and I'm heading out to cut the front lawn.

Was gone for a week out west, TX & OK, visiting family. Had an opportunity to share a pipe with my dad and my youngest son. Got home Sunday. Today I got out and played a round of golf with 3 good friends. As is usually the case, had 5 or 6 cigars on the course. This evening, after a wonderful dinner of Sirloin and Salmon (Thanks Blondie) and watching an episode of AGT, Blondie went to bed and I am up in the cave. First bowl was some 2011 MM965 in my Savinelli Bent Bulldog. Now just starting a bowl of Liz in my Smooth Parker Bent Bully.... Sippin Buffalo Trace

Having my first taste of Comoys Cask #9, in an ox blood stained three star Pipes By Lee pot...label says Mellow and bright Virginias, burley, with flavors of nougat, vanilla, and chocolate. When I used my tamper to pry the paint-can type tub open, the lid flew over my head ,with a loud POP, and landed on the floor behind my chair...the inner foil was domed over like Jiffy-pop popcorn. So far I taste good Virginias, with nice mild hints of the listed flavorings , like the tin aroma from the mixed brown ribbons... Overall ,at seventeen bucks per 100 grams, I think I did well, vs the 9 dollar price for a pouch of Captain Black Grape.
A good find, in a little tobacco shop ,just a few shops down from my new gym!!!
