Hello from Patchers, from Sevierville, TN. The little woman and I took a road trip down here from Chicago. Just needed to get away for a few days, found a great cabin at the Oak Haven resort and spa. So what should I take to smoke? Well back in July of 2018. I had mixed a coin of Escudo with a flake of MacB HH Pure Virginia. And quire enjoyed it. Finished off the 2 tins together. So I took a new tin of each, dated 2018. Stuck them deep in the cellar and dared the bag “open 9/2020” And a 2nd dated 9/2023. Let’s see what time does. Yesterday, I opened the Escudo first and loaded it up. This is the first Escudo I have had since 2018. I found I enjoyed it much more than I had 2 years ago. This morning it was the same for the Pure Virginia. It to, was more enjoyable. Now sitting on the deck as the sun is going down and a chill is coming on. I have done the coin and flake mix. Even better than I remembered. I’m sure a 2nd bowl will follow this evening after dinner!

The last of my P.S. L.N.F. with a dusting of P.P.S.R. , to fill an old lattice meer and a meer lined briar marked Meer Delux...I puffed along on these through the day, now I'm wondering what's next.
