greets & hope all having a nice weekend so far. For me, Sat was a no-go for multitude of reasons. For now, usual walks earlier, Quorum 6x50 for company (hope to finish later during yard work). Otherwise, finish paper & football.
39, overcast at present

My own Mellow morning Mix of burley, in a LaRoca bent Dublin, with the last drop of coffee in the house...I'll have to hitch up the team and head to Kroger later!

So I smoked my first post COVID pipe this afternoon. Hal O’ The Wynd in a Radice Rind Billiard. While I enjoyed my first smoke in over three weeks, I have to say my taste/smell is not at all back. I could feel some perique tingle, but the smoke was flat otherwise. I’m hoping that improves with time or else I’ve a whole bunch of blends that will likely taste the same. Time will tell! I’m optimistic. Same thing happened to me. I didn't loose my sense of taste and smell - but it was definitely altered. Diet Pepsi tasted too sweet. Toothpaste tasted terrible. It took a couple weeks - maybe more, before I could taste the subtle flavors of my aromatics.

It took a couple weeks - maybe more, before I could taste the subtle flavors of my aromatics. Monte, What were the symptoms you experienced when you contracted covid? Headache, muscle aches (mainly shoulders, hips), dried out sinuses (but they'd clog up about twice a day), slight fever but the use of Tylenol may be why the fever never got above 101'F. An odd, slight discomfort centered on my breast bone - in my lungs I presume. The biggest impact was the tiredness/fatigue. Some slight dizziness now and then. Didn't loose my sense of taste or smell but noticed a few things tasted odd/different. Very little coughing. No gastrointestinal issues. No loss of appetite. Lasted nearly 3 weeks.
