Last night I had a couple of huge bowls of Carter Hall, in a Savinelli 320 EX, at a friends backyard campfire party. Celebrating the last warm weekend we are likely to see till spring.
Carter Hall for two reasons, well three... I like the taste. And because it seems to be the least offensive to others sitting nearby. Most actually like the smell. And third, it is the most well behaved tobacco, always lights, always burns clean to the end, very few relights, minimum of tamping. The least fiddly tobacco. When I smoke in public I like to look like I have competence, and Carter Hall is a tobacco that cooperates.
