Penzance - FREE to good home
I thieved an bag of this stuff a few years back because it is supposedly some sort of great tobacco but ya know it was all hype because I think the stuff sucks and I want it GONE! Now that its open it is really starting to taint and stink up my Lane 1Q so I want it GONE!
If you want to take it off my hands I'll be more than happy to email it to you for your enjoyment.

Er, well, I've always wanted to try Penzance. Plus, my brother-in-law gave me a tin of 1Q for Christmas and I don't like 1Q. I've taken out a couple of bowls to make sure, but no, I am not fond of 1Q. It's just one 50g tin minus two bowls, but you want a trade?

I for one have never tried the blend and with all of the hype about it I don't think I want to,I have seen some people who smoke that blend look down their nose at people who don't smoke it..just my feelings about it!

You sad little man...
Wait, I haven't tried it yet either, but I'm sure I'll be much more important when I do.

It is like drinking Penzance, Cornwall cider compared to Somerset Cider, , a certain folksy mystique for the clique incrowd , but I will try anything once if it is within my means. But straight cider disagrees with me anyway , I would probably mix the Penzance with Captain Black...

My big red Volvo CR England driving school graduate truck caused me to be called many bad things when I first started driving! I have cussed a few England drivers... FedEx Ground out here in the southwest seems to hire the worst drivers on the road... aholes on the road, and not unusual to see them in the ditch. They are the numb nuts of the FedEx family of carriers.

I love truckers, and I can sum up why in one word: awareness. They are aware of you and you can communicate with them.
Poppa, were you just joking about the Penzance? If you were, that's ok, but if you'd let us know I can lay it to rest and not keep checking for a PM. I have a little RLP-6 I don't like I would include in the trade, but could you let me know?

I was on I80 in Wyoming in a snow storm..some chicken haulers blew past me cussing me out for going 35 up hill..well when i got ner the top they were both off the road..I pulled over and said i was going to the rawlins truckstop at the bottom of the hill and did they need a ride? One guy was mighty sheepish when he asked if i could give him a lift..the other was still a damn chowder head and I was temped to leave his arse in the cold..but the other fella talked a bit of sense into him and he apologized for being an asshole and he accepted a ride as well. Yeah nice fast Pete looked great in the snow sitting between the east and went bound lanes..sorry for the babble.

maybe he's actually Gargamel? If the shoe fits... " Gargamel is a character from The Smurfs. An evil wizard and the sworn enemy of the Smurfs, he is the main antagonist in the show and comic books. His main goal in life is to destroy the Smurfs or to capture enough of them to create a potion to turn base matter into gold."

As far as Penzance goes I see no magic in it. As far as Big trucks go I'm a retired OTR driver of over 20 years. Started out with GI trucking which ABF owns now and seems to have nothing good to say about it. Things were different back when I drove for'em and it was a damn good job. Drove for many companies after that and NO, none of them union and that was not by choice really, just ended up that way. Didn't drive no fancy shmancy trucks but, they all treated me good and got me down the road without too much of a problem. The last company I drove a 2000 Pete conventional 3 axle 274" wheel base with a 10 speed which was like driving a Cadillac compared to some of the old trucks I had to push down the road. Can't find the photo of it naturally but, it was a nice truck.

Awareness ... Lets see, I did mention it was stanking up my Lane 1-Q and that is just not possible to do. Lane 1-Q is a stanky aeromatic to start with and could only have its stank improved. Lets see, I did mention I would email the tobacco and I'm not sure that anyone has yet perfected the emailing of tobacco. Lets see, now this is really where "awareness" comes into play on this but this was posted in the "Humor & Fun" part of the forum. Soooo you tell me, do you think I was just joking? Baboo ... within minutes of your "snarky" comment you made another "snarky" comment on another thread. Do you have some sort of problem with me? If ya do why not stop trawling and instead step out from behind the curtain and start a thread about whatever problem you have. You don't know me and I don't know you but this is now twice within minutes you've made "snarky" comment in my direction. Do we have some sort of problem between us?

My link to The Briar Patch goes directly to Recent Threads; I don't see what category they are posted to. As a tech, I see folks using computer terms incorrectly continually, so 'email' could have easily been a slip. I don't know you and didn't know you found 1Q 'stanky'.
I do see the generosity of pipe smokers all the time, so thought Penzance - FREE to good home meant just that, and it seems other folks did too. Instead of telling me I wasn't aware enough, it might have been nicer to say, sorry you got the wrong idea, but I posted that as a joke in the joke section, and I meant email when I said it. Sorry for getting your hopes up, dude.
