Tough day. Had to get out the chainsaw and clean up a rather good sized limb which broke off across the road from the storms last night and then my computer hiccupped. Not sure what's up with it yet but I broke out the back-up which is actually more modern and faster. I just hate switching them out and starting over. A lot of McClelland #5100 went through cobs today. Now enjoying Esoterica Margate in a 1/4 bent lattice finished IMP meerschaum billiard and a shot of Jack Daniels before bed.

Last smoke of the day is Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. Just fed Suzy and Molly, who are quite happy now. I'm watching idiots on TV talk about the conspiracy that killed George Patton. Think I'll turn the channel and watch something, anything, with a better sense of reality than this stuff.

Lunted Pop with a straight standard Falcon & a plain homebrew day mix, busy with a plain day mix in my 2016 Xmas gift pipe, then the gas diggers returned spoiling my day, they drilled a hole outside my home & my neighbours with pneumatic drills, then dug up his landscaped garden ( Graft !), an over the road widowed neighbour cannot get her car out of the garage. I cleaned my front windows so as not to waste the morning completely, with a day mix in a Kong chunky dark polished hardwood standing poker style bowl with a tapered shank & broad bent black stem, engraved with a golden letter " q " , a fine smoke for about 10 dollars, I have a Dunhill on my wishlist,a hot blackcurrant juice to take away the chill. Confession is good for the soul they say.

33F and sunny this morning. A couple more cool nights and it appears to be smooth sailing into spring afterwards. Grass growing, be time to mow again in a few days. Starting out the day with Boswell's Pennsylvania Dutch Treat in a smooth 1/2 bent 2004 Boswell billiard with the familiar etchings on the bowl, drinking Trader Joe's coffee and getting ready for a brisk walk.

This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Cleaning a few pipes. Molly wants to help, but her idea of helping is to paw at my pipe cleaners. The girl sure is hard to train.
