Does anyone use this anymore? Seems like participation has waned a bit. Do we need to start scheduling chat time like I have had to do with my family? lol

I don't have an account and I wouldn't be a good presenter but we should schedule a weekly Zoom chat. I participate in 3 or 4 every week that I really enjoy.  |

Justin,
there are half a dozen or so, including myself, that frequent the chat room.
That being said, if it's something that is an economic drain, I would completely understand the need to cut bait.

It's a once a year cost, and not an excessive one at that. I'm just more concerned that people are missing the opportunity, or that it would make sense for people to start sharing that they will be in chat so that others can join.

I never realized there was a chat room.... May have to pop in and take a peek sometime. It might be kinda cool to have like a Google meets or whatever it's called and have a virtual smoking sesh. (You know covid. Gotta social distance 🙂)
Not sure how well that would fly, but thought I'd put it out there.

thanx so much for the mention Justin. I'd agree with above Lizard that nobody there till around 10 "ish" pm Eastern Time is when the above from Dino start to check in. In my case recently, wish I could show up much before 11pm. Wifie health issues normally my reasons for being a "no-show" recently. I can't kick in any $$ for now...her non-covered medical co-pays the reason. Now that old ASP changed format can no longer post anything there. Deb Collins "pipe chat" was where I seen Sparks invite to the Patch. Am surprised not more Patchers in Central, Rocky & Pacific Zones not more active. It's my only source now seeing changes etc even in the FB ASP. Do enjoy the long time "live chats" I've followed since 1st got a computer in '01. Was checking the FB version yesterday. No more #pipes or BriarNation & a few others. BoB long gone.
Apologies for being so long-winded for now. Hope our fearless leader can keep chat going.

I'm so sorry I missed the chart last evening. I was on but was early. Then around 10ish ( NS time) one of my kiddos got out of bed throwing up so that pretty much left me on nurse duty for the rest of the night.
Hopefully I'll have better luck next time and get to participate.

Glad to hear it’s gaining traction again. The few times I’ve logged on it’s just me on the site. The one time when there were others, it seemed awkward for me to jump in, say hi, ask what everyone is talking about etc... definitely felt like the fifth wheel. I’m not complaining just making an observation.

Ted, new guys to the chat room are always welcome so don't be shy. Most of us long time chatters have heard each others stories so often that new blood is a breath of fresh air. Keep at it and you'll soon feel like part of the mix.
