Probably the worst Christmas movie.
My brother was a glazer (glass technician) and got called out on Christmas day to do a board up on a sliding glass door on an insurance claim.
Christmas morning, gramps was given his new recliner, reclined back, and went through the sliding glass door that predated safety glass. The plate glass came down and decapitated gramps in front of the family, guillotine style.
The family had the Sony Handycam running and my brother heard the detectives remark, "is sure is easy to wrap this one up with the camera footage".
This stuff really happens...not a Hallmark moment for the family.

That is how I feel about the saccharin silliness of "It's a Wonderful Life". I previously commented on how a known embezzler escaped prosecution for Bank Fraud. Then there are drunken angels, felonious old farts and the odious politics of small town America. A most regrettable movie. |

I just watched Christmas Chronicles with my granddaughter, it was cool to see Steve Van Zandt in it and the other guys from the E street band... I met them in 2009, a bunch of cool guys.

Love the Hogfather and The Color Of Magic.👍 They've also made a movie off of Going postal, and there is alive action TV series that is supposed to premiere in January called "The Watch" based off the Ankh Morpork city watch on BBC. The entire Discworld series is a fantastic read. |
