In honour of PappyJoe, decided to create a new thread for December. Yes.. it’s December already. Happy holidays everyone and thank goodness this year is almost over COVID wise.

Kings Ransom is not quite as intense as Mountains of Madness to me. I ordered a pound of it. It should be in the mail.

Early today, I started with some 2012 Lancer's Slices. Then, moved on to a jar of 2005 GH Louisiana Flake that I've been smoking all day. Now it's time for a good cigar to end a great day.

Zooming with some friends and smoking Epiphany in a Scottie. USPS failed to deliver my pipe within the deadline they were supposed to deliver it. Slightly irritated.

Peter Stokkebye Sambuca in a Molina Barasso Brilliant 102.
First try. Supposed to taste like licorice. I was curious and not expecting much. I wasn't let down. Outside of the pouch smells like licorice, but not inside(?) - and no licorice taste. Extremely citrusy. But the tobacco is extremely dry to the point of being brittle.
I'll see what it tastes like once rehydrated, but not expecting much.

SG perfect brown flake in a Lorenzetti avitus. Is 'perfect' brown flake better than 'best' brown flake?

greets all. Usual walks earlier, no-band 6x42 for company (no dog walkers around the park this time). After the Ed is fed, '06 "mangled mess" of mostly latakia in old SamMartin freehand & continue with the papers. Misc house "stuff" planned for later.
29, about 1" snow on grass, roads, sidewalks clear
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since '62
