I've seen in several places -- including one tobacco retailer -- that Prince Albert is being discontinued. I called Middleton customer service. Prince Albert is still being manufactured. So, no worries.

There was a discussion that Carter Hall was also going away but I can not find anything on John Middleton Co., a subsidiary of Altria Group other than a change to the dept manager for that group. The shadow knows and I have no clue.

Prince Albert was just in a can. If you let him out he'll be once again among us.

Prince Albert is still very much alive. WV SmokeShop has re-stocked online.

If anything, while there might be a significant number of blends that will disappear over the next decade or so for various reasons, OTC blends will remain strong. Which is a good thing because I love my SWR and Lane Ready Rubbed.
