Good afternoon all. This morning, my son and I met up with friends for our trapshooting league. About 35 degrees and overcast here. Not bad weather for being outdoors. Good to see friends, even if it was only for a short time(socially distanced, of course). Smoked Gold Block in a cob on the drive there and home. Now smoking Haunted Bookshop in Savinelli Deluxe sandblasted Canadian. Drinking what's left of the coffee in a travel mug. Shotgun is cleaned and oiled, ready for next time. Going to clean and polish some pipes this afternoon.

Starting some brown cow in a Mastercraft pipe with a stinger. Still a little bit of cleaning to be done on this one. But I am just to excited to try it!

2014 Luxury Bullseye Flake in an old Meer. This stuff is really smooth with age, a no-brainer on cellaring.

Sav Autographs are generally stunning pieces, and so is this one John. I love the Autograph Mignon series. They’re smaller pipes that you can clench unlike the usual big Autograph. Plus, they are unfiltered with a standard push tenon. As an extra bonus, the blasted ones are relatively reasonably priced.

Finally getting around to smoking the HH Navy Flake in a MM Washington 5th Ave cob. Right tobacco, wrong pipe. Will try again in something more substantial.

Smoking HH Navy Flake again. This time in a briar. No-name basket, but still a briar. Total different experience. Fewer relights, more flavor. Really liking this blend, TAD setting in... again.

Cobs work best with Burley, aros and OTC stuff. Briar is better with most of those and more. Some things like Candy Cane Cocoa I would only smoke in a cob.
