Skiff Mixture in a Peterson. First of all. Nice pipe! Second how are you liking it? How is the flavor and room note? It's available at my tobaccoist and wondering if I should get a couple tins? Thanks. As for the Skiff Mixture--I don't have a very sensitive palate. But I do prefer light English blends with limited latakia. I bought a couple of tins of this on a whim because I enjoy S G's Squadron Leader. Although these tobaccos strike me as very similar, the Skiff seems slightly more pungent--possibly it is the Oriental tobaccos (quantity--not quality, as Squadron Leader has Orientals as well). Although I live alone, I smoke outside. But I have a feeling the "room note" is not especially pleasant. I will not be seeking out more of this to "cellar" as I have a pile of Squadron Leader, Early Morning Pipe, and Presbyterian which scratch that "traditional English" itch I get on occasion. And one man's "pungent" might be another man's "pleasant." It is certainly less offensive than some very popular tobaccos I have tried. Give it a shot. You might like it.

7 years of age on MacBaren Scottish Mixture in a 1954 GBD New Standard. Very nice indeed Charlie! I love this blend and seven years of age must be more robust! Freaking jealous.
