Smoking my own stew-pot English blend, a work in process from 89 to 06 ,when I put it down to rest and meld. The VAs are from McClelland {BULK #24 OR 27},and the Latakia was a blender from C & D. Small bits of this or that English went in over the years ,until the quart jar was almost full, and I tagged it " The Lion and the Lamb" It's smoldering in my Stanwell Dannish Star this morning, and I'm patting myself on the back for at least one mix that came out right; I just wish I'd had the foresight to jar up a few pounds of those VAs

Hi, Everybody. Hope you're all having a good Monday. In this meeting-heavy day, I've been alternating between Match Victorian and Haunted Bookshop in a couple different cobs and a Savinelli Bruna rusticated Apple with Cumberland stem.

Ed's proprietary Golden Harvest Blend in my quarter-bend mini apple briar with a side of 12 year MacAllan. This was my first successful, proper pipe load. I had to relight it a couple times over the course of a couple hours of good conversation, but I had a good draw throughout and wasn't fighting to keep it lit. Loading and smoking a pipe truly is as much art as science.
